I purchased the 8 inch Draw collar and it works like a charm. I was having a problem with reverse draft during shutdown when there was just a few embers left that did not create enough heat for draft and a reverse draft would occur and blow carbon monoxide (CO) into the house since the embers were still generating CO until they burned out which could last for 12hours or more. I wasn’t getting smoke, just the CO which would set off my CO alarms. This Draw collar completely eliminated the problem. In addition it also improved my start up since it created a draft and I didn’t have to be particular in how I made up my start up fire.. I would have had to stop burning wood due to the CO if it wasn’t for this Draw Collar. It is a great product and I am extremely happy!!!

When we first bought our new stove and tried to start a fire it was very smokey before the stove and pipes warmed up enough to create a draft. And the smoke alarm was only some 15 feet away, thus it would go off all the time. The noise and the smoke made things very unpleasant. To remedy this I thought why not just pre-heat the top of the stove and the pipes with a blowtorch. Well, that worked, but it took a lot of time and effort, which really became quite burdensome after a few days. It made you not want to even bother having a fire. Some time later, at the store where we bought the stove, I saw this collar gismo and thought what a convenient time saver that might be. So I bought one. It turned out to be way better than I had imagined, so easy to build a fire which takes right off because of a good draft, no smoke, and there are no worries about setting off the smoke alarm. It is now a pleasure to build a fire. After the fire season you unplug it, and then plug it in the next fire season. How convenient! I recommend this collar as highly as possible.

I had tried everything but nothing worked, most of the time I had a downward flow of cold air that I couldn’t counter and it made the stove impossible to use. I discovered Draw Collar on the internet, and I couldn’t believe it, but I had nothing more to lose. I installed the collar in 1 hour, assisted live by a company employee with whom I was chatting on Messenger. I uploaded photos and videos and was able to install it myself. Since then, it’s just magic, it changed my life and we will be able to enjoy our stove all winter in Quebec! The support was really efficient and friendly, and the person who helped me on Messenger followed up regularly to see if everything was going well. The only improvement that I would suggest: put a switch on the cable, which would prevent having to access the socket.

I’ve been using the draw collar for several years now. Our stove is installed in a finished basement on an exterior chimney. When the chimney is cold it would not draw. Tried all the tricks. Light paper and put it in the stove pipe, open a window. Nothing worked. Found the draw collar on line and gave it a try. Works like a charm! Turn on the collar while I prepare a fire and twenty minutes later the chimney is drawing and I light the fire. Been using it every night in the winter for years now. Never fails.

I bought a 6” collar I loved it worked like it should. Before my stove would smoke up the whole house when the fire was burning out this fixed my problem. My unit ended up having a malfunction after one season. I contacted them they sent me a new one the next day. Very pleased with their customer service!
