We put up with smoke in our family room for 20 years. However, after a total remodeling of our room we couldn't tolerate the smoke that would occur on cold days when we couldn't establish a draft. Over the years we tried various ways to overcome the problem with poor results. The Draw Collar solved a persistent 20 year problem. We couldn’t be more delighted.

I had a terrible backdraft in my recently installed basement woodstove. After researching possible solutions to the problem, I came across reviews for the Draw Collar. I broke down and ordered one, and am very pleased that I did. It does exactly what the Atmosfire literature claimed - easy to install, silent, and it allowed me to start my first fire after several smokey previous attempts. Great product!

As the title states. Works well, as described. Have it on for 15-20 minutes before starting the fire. Very satisfied.

It has, up until now, been a real challenge to get a fire started without filling the room with smoke. With that problem solved, The installation seems to have received the finishing touch. Thanks for your product and timely delivery!

I recently installed a stove in a basement. With two 90 degree bends and a good length of chimney pipe it had a difficult time getting a good draft. This led to many struggles starting fires and some smokey situations.

This product, while a bit pricey solves the problem. Installation was easy, and after some initial burn in smoke (called out in the instructions) I was able to get the fire going. No more smokey basement, no more fear of back drafting cooled coals.

While I would prefer not to need an additional electric device in the stack, the ease of staying fires, and the peace of mind this brings make this a good purchase. Let's hope the product lasts.

We live in Alaska and we have always had a smoke issue starting fires. We added stovepipe to the top of our chimney and still smoke. We tried those loud draft fans and smoke would come out of the fan. Finally we found the Air Damper! And it works no more smoke!!!! It’s worth every penny! Thank you for the great product

My draw collar wouldn't power up and when I called Atmosfire direct, they knew exactly what the problem was, told me the part I needed (replacement Thermal Sensor Regulator), and put it in the mail same day. I received it 2 days later, installed it, and I'm back in business. Super responsive!

The fan worked great and was a good enhancement for our Vermont Castings Encore. It supplements the mounted electric blower and of course works when the power is out. Atmosfire is a great company with great customer service!

The customer service provided by Atmosfire was outstanding! The product is as advertised and was easily installed with my double walled pipe. I’m excited for the temperature to drop and actually build a fire! Atmosfire is a top notch company that I would recommend.

Your draw collar has worked exceptionally well, especially when used with our prior Vermont intrepid II stove. The issue with that stove is the poor design of the chambers that inhibit the stove to pull properly.

With our external stone chimney the draw collar is exactly what was need to preheat everything so we get less or zero reverse draft. No more smoke filled rooms!

We have found that the only time we need to use the collar with the Oslo F500v3 is if we are starting a cold stove. With this new stove we are getting seven to ten hour burn times so very rarely is the stove cooling down.

With that said, I wouldnt even think of having a wood stove without one of your draw collar’s installed on it.

You have designed a bullet proof product that you can be very proud of.

It has worked wonders for us. We went from constantly struggling with the stove (flooding the house with smoke on several occasions) to having a completely predictable draft. I was worried about buying something that wouldn’t work, and luckily that was not a problem. This solution is certainly far more affordable than the alternative, which would have been adding length to our chimney to the tune of $10,000 or more.

Since we have installed the draw collar, no problems. No more reversed flue. No more smoke rolling out of the front of the furnace in the middle of the night. Most importantly, better sleep without worrying about the house filling with smoke.
After 4 years, and, a mistake on my behalf, i believe, i found this fall that the heating element in my Draw Collar was burned out. I always unplug it when the heating season is over, but, had forgotten this year. Thankfully, with the help of John, I was able to purchase a new element and sensor, and have it delivered to my home, for a very reasonable price.
Now my furnace is back up and running, and, I will definitely be happy to promote the Draw Collar, and Stock Squared, as i firmly believe in their product, and, their excellent customer service.
