Shipment arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. Installation of draw collar to flue of woodburning sauna stove was relatively quick and easy. Now sauna gets to optimal temperature 30% faster! Very happy with this purchase.

This device has made a difference for our wood burning stove and now we can enjoy it without smoke being pushed out do to the cold air in our stove pipe. John was very helpful.

We have a long woodstove pipe, about 20’ of 6” pipe, that has always been hard to start a positive draft on. The woodstove is in the basement and extends above the second story roof 5’. This draw collar has so far proved to really help and cuts down on the amount of smoke in the room on cold startup. I am still trying different ways to see what works best. We have a green start system and I can finally leave the door closed upon startup and I am using small amounts of cedar to produce a quick, hot fire. The temperature has been between 5 degrees and 27 degrees so there is a strong downdraft if I open the wood stove door to build the fire, even with the basement door open .

The Draw collar worked better than expected. Prior to the draw collar starting the fire was challenging and our basement would become filled with smoke. With the draw collar installed, the fire started noticeably easier and absolutely no smoke back filled the stove or into our basement.

We put up with smoke in our family room for 20 years. However, after a total remodeling of our room we couldn't tolerate the smoke that would occur on cold days when we couldn't establish a draft. Over the years we tried various ways to overcome the problem with poor results. The Draw Collar solved a persistent 20 year problem. We couldn’t be more delighted.

I broke down and ordered one, and am very pleased that I did. It does exactly what the Atmosfire literature claimed - easy to install, silent, and it allowed me to start my first fire after several smokey previous attempts. Great product!

As the title states. Works well, as described. Have it on for 15-20 minutes before starting the fire. Very satisfied.

This fan is exactly what I was hoping for when we have a power outage. It sits on our gas fireplace and works great!!

It has, up until now, been a real challenge to get a fire started without filling the room with smoke. With that problem solved, The installation seems to have received the finishing touch. Thanks for your product and timely delivery!

I recently installed a stove in a basement. With two 90 degree bends and a good length of chimney pipe it had a difficult time getting a good draft. This led to many struggles starting fires and some smokey situations.

This product, while a bit pricey solves the problem. Installation was easy, and after some initial burn in smoke (called out in the instructions) I was able to get the fire going. No more smokey basement, no more fear of back drafting cooled coals.

While I would prefer not to need an additional electric device in the stack, the ease of staying fires, and the peace of mind this brings make this a good purchase. Let's hope the product lasts.

We live in Alaska and we have always had a smoke issue starting fires. We added stovepipe to the top of our chimney and still smoke. We tried those loud draft fans and smoke would come out of the fan. Finally we found the Air Damper! And it works no more smoke!!!! It’s worth every penny! Thank you for the great product

My draw collar wouldn't power up and when I called Atmosfire direct, they knew exactly what the problem was, told me the part I needed (replacement Thermal Sensor Regulator), and put it in the mail same day. I received it 2 days later, installed it, and I'm back in business. Super responsive!

The fan worked great and was a good enhancement for our Vermont Castings Encore. It supplements the mounted electric blower and of course works when the power is out. Atmosfire is a great company with great customer service!
